About Us

Who We Are

FavorShopping® is an online lighting specialist. We design and sell modern chandeliers, pendant lights, and statement fixtures for foyers, stairwells, dining rooms, and living rooms — shipping worldwide, with the United States as our largest market.

Most people find us in the middle of a project: a two-story entryway that swallows anything small, a dining table sitting under a builder-grade fixture, a stairwell that has been dim since the day they moved in. Our job is to make the next step simple — the right size, the right drop, the right light, delivered to your door with nothing extra to buy.

Lighting is the only category we work in. We keep the range deliberately small so that the fixtures in it have earned their place.

Our Story: From Wholesale Supply to Your Front Door

FavorShopping® began in wholesale lighting supply. Years of sourcing for trade buyers taught us where quality actually lives — in the plating, the wiring harness, the tolerance on a cast arm, and the packaging that decides whether a crystal fixture arrives intact or in pieces.

When we moved into selling direct, we brought that habit of scrutiny with us. We work directly with the manufacturers who build our fixtures, which is why we can specify a finish, adjust a dimension, or extend a cord without going through a trading company — and why we know what is inside a product before we list it.

What Goes Into Our Fixtures

  • Real crystal, not plastic. Our crystal fixtures are made predominantly with K9 crystal, an optical borosilicate crown glass chosen for its clarity and the way it breaks light.
  • Integrated LED, included. Most of our fixtures ship with integrated LED modules and a built-in dimming driver, so there is no bulb order to place before you can switch the light on.
  • Universal voltage. Our fixtures are typically rated for 100–240V, which is why the same product can go to a home in Texas or in Rotterdam. The exact rating is listed on the product page.
  • Published specifications. Dimensions, wattage, color temperature, lumens, voltage, and whether the fixture dims are on the product page, so you can check clearance and light output before you order rather than after the box arrives.
  • Packaging built for the journey. Multi-layer protection for glass, crystal, and slender arms — the parts that do not survive a careless carrier.

What Comes With Your Order

  • Free insured standard shipping, worldwide. No minimum purchase. Insurance is included rather than sold as an add-on at checkout.
  • A three-year warranty on the fixtures we sell.
  • Thirty days to return it from the date of delivery, and we do not charge a restocking fee.
  • A prepaid return label at no cost to you if a fixture arrives damaged or defective.

Full terms are on our Shipping Policy and Return & Refund Policy pages. Those pages are the authoritative version; if anything here ever appears to differ from them, the policy pages apply.

How Long Delivery Takes

Standard delivery runs 15–20 business days after your order ships. That is longer than a fixture pulled off a domestic warehouse shelf, and we would rather tell you here than have you find out after checkout.

If you are working to a fixed date — a move-in, a photoshoot, a holiday — expedited delivery is available for an additional fee, or email us before you order and we will tell you honestly whether standard shipping makes it. Exact timings are in the questions below and on our Shipping Policy page.

Before You Install

A chandelier is wired into your home, so this is not the place to economize. We strongly recommend that any hardwired fixture be installed by a licensed electrician, and that your ceiling box is confirmed as rated for the weight of the fixture you have chosen — that matters more with heavier crystal and multi-arm designs.

Two things worth knowing before the electrician arrives:

  • Check the fixture against your space before it is installed. Once a fixture has been wired or assembled, it can no longer be returned. Unpack it, offer it up, confirm the drop — then install.
  • If anything arrived damaged, tell us within 72 hours of delivery. Email hello@favorshopping.com with your order number, clear photos or a short video of the damage, and photos of the outer packaging. Keep the packaging until the claim is settled — it is what makes a carrier claim straightforward.

If your installation needs particular compliance documentation, email us before you order and we will tell you exactly what we can provide for that fixture.

Custom Orders, Designers, and Trade

Our wholesale roots are still active. We customize: size, finish, and cord or chain length — extending the drop for a high ceiling is the request we get most often. Tell us what the space needs and we will tell you honestly whether it can be done.

One thing to be clear about, because it is easy to miss: customized and made-to-order fixtures cannot be returned. They are built for your space and cannot be resold, so we would rather over-communicate at the quoting stage than surprise you later. If anything about the specification is unclear, ask before you approve the quote.

If you are an interior designer, builder, stager, or hospitality buyer, we can quote on volume, hold finishes consistent across a project, and work to a delivery schedule. Start with our trade application.

Common Questions

What size chandelier do I need for my room?

Add the room's length and width in feet, then read that number as inches. A 12 ft by 14 ft room suits a fixture around 26 inches in diameter. In a two-story foyer, size up rather than down — a fixture that looks generous on paper usually looks modest once it is 15 feet in the air. If you are caught between two sizes, send us your room dimensions and ceiling height and we will tell you which one we would hang.

What size chandelier do I need for my dining room?

Size it to the table, not the room. Aim for a fixture between one-half and two-thirds the width of the table, hung so the bottom sits roughly 30 to 36 inches above the tabletop. For a 60-inch table, that puts you between about 30 and 40 inches wide.

How high should a chandelier hang?

Over open floor, keep the bottom of the fixture at least 7.5 feet above the ground. Over a dining table the fixture can hang much lower, around 30 to 36 inches above the tabletop, because nobody walks under it. Where a stairwell or landing overlooks the fixture, hang it so it reads well from the floor above as well as from below.

Are your chandeliers dimmable?

Most are. Fixtures with integrated LED modules use a built-in dimming driver and need a compatible low-voltage electronic LED dimmer — an older incandescent dimmer will usually buzz or flicker. Fixtures that take replaceable G4 or E27 bulbs dim if you fit dimmable bulbs and a matching dimmer. The product page states whether that fixture dims.

Do your fixtures come with bulbs?

Most of them do. Fixtures with integrated LED modules arrive with the light source built in, so there is nothing extra to buy. Where a fixture takes replaceable bulbs, the product page lists the bulb type.

Will your fixtures work with US household voltage?

Our fixtures are typically rated 100–240V, which covers standard US household current as well as European and Asian supply. The rating for any specific fixture is listed on its product page — check it before you order, and ask us if it is not clear.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Standard orders ship in 1–3 business days and deliver in 15–20 business days after shipping — about 16–23 business days in total. Customized orders take 5–10 business days to process. Expedited shipping delivers in 2–6 business days worldwide for an additional fee. Current details are on our Shipping Policy page.

Can I return a fixture if it is not right?

Yes, within 30 days of delivery, provided it is unused, uninstalled, and back in its original packaging with its parts included. There is no restocking fee. Return shipping is yours to cover on a change-of-mind return; if the fixture arrived damaged or defective, we send a prepaid label. Customized and made-to-order fixtures, final-sale items, loose bulbs, and unwrapped crystals cannot be returned. Full terms are on our Return & Refund Policy page.

Do I need an electrician to install one?

For any hardwired fixture, we strongly recommend a licensed electrician. Beyond the wiring, an electrician will confirm that your ceiling box is rated to carry the weight of the fixture — which matters most with heavier crystal and multi-arm designs.

Do you ship outside the United States?

Yes. We ship worldwide, and standard shipping is free and insured regardless of destination. Import duties and taxes are handled separately — see our Customs & Taxes page for how they work in your country.
